Course Overview:
Since 2014, it has been essential that all employees in consumer credit firms comply with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC). Familiarity and working knowledge with CONC is therefore critical, alongside an understanding how CONC affects the processes and procedures adopted by a company.
This interactive course, delivered over two consecutive mornings, explores the main provisions of CONC and allows delegates to discuss interpretation of the rules in a variety of real-world scenarios, through practical examples and application. Through interactive sessions, you will learn about pre-contractual disclosure requirements, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring compliance during the lifetime of an agreement.
Additionally, we will cover essential topics such as helping customers in financial difficulty and navigating the complexities of arrears, default, and recovery processes outlined in CONC 7.
